This past Saturday I celebrated my birthday with my family a bit early. My birthday is actually on the 23rd of February, but we decided to do it a bit early. My family and I decided on Ruth Chris’ Steakhouse in celebration of my 16th, and this is the makeup look I went for.
Starting off with primer I used the Naked Skin by Urban Decay to smooth and prep the skin. For foundation, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Foundation Stick in the shade Beige all over the faced with a damp beauty blender. As usual for concealer I used the Nars Creamy Concealer in the shade Creme Brulee. To bronze up, the face I used Hoola by Benefit on a stippling brush I’ve been loving to use this type of brush because I find it makes the bronzing look so much more natural. For the highlight I used a mix of Champagne by Tarte and Kitten by Stilla. For my eye makeup, I started off by blending a light rose shade from Colourpop called Wake Up Call from the outside crease into the center. Getting a darker matte brown shade on a fluffy brush I buffed it in a windshield motion equally on the entire crease. Lastly, I took Highstrung by Colourpop a shimmery rose gold in the center of the lid for a halo effect. With the halo shadow finished I curled my lashes and did my winged liner with the Kat Von D tattoo liner. For mascara, I used my L’oreal Miss Manga Mascara on the top and bottom lashes making sure to get really close to the lash line to get a dark liner effect. To finish off the look I applied a matte pink shade of the Colourpop Lipstick called Times Square!
